Hunger striker Aydemir continues his fast in Rome

Kurdish activist Erol Aydemir has been on hunger strike in Rome for 64 days demanding the end of isolation against Öcalan.

The members of the delegation, who have been closely involved with the Kurdish committees and the Kurdish cause for years, stated that their support for the Kurdish struggle would continue without any conditions.

Smeriglio said that they are supporting the legitimate demand of the Kurdish people. “The hunger strikers need to be given an answer - he said - their demands must be met." 

The delegation was given a file on hunger strike resistance by Aydemir.
