The hunger strike launched in Strasbourg entered its 6th day.
Hunger strike actions have been launched throughout Europe as well as Kurdistan and Turkey in solidarity with HDP Hakkari MP, Leyla Güven, who has been on hunger strike for 45 days in jail demanding an end to the isolation imposed on Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
The hunger strikers in Strasbourg are receiving the solidarity of many visitors, included people from Germany and France.
The visitors also participated in the signature campaign urging the CPT to visit the Kurdish leader in Imrali Prison.

Duran Arkaş: We come from Germany. We are here to show solidarity with our friends on hunger strike. We wish them great success. We will remain beside them.
Imam Yesilkaya: I am from Germany. We've come to visit our friends. We've come to support their actions to make it a success. We wish success to all our friends.
Hacı Gül: We come from Germany, from Mannheim. Our friends are carrying out this action to demand an end to the isolation imposed on our leader. We have no news from the Leader for 3 years. We're ready to do whatever we can for the Leader. We wish success to our friends.
Halil Yucel: I live in France. We came to visit our friends here. We're here with our lives. We're always ready to do whatever it takes. This should be well known by the Turkish state.
Ibrahim Yucel: I'm from France. I came to visit the friends who participate in the hunger strike and wish them success.
