IHD (Human Rights Association) Siirt Branch executive and two members were taken into custody by police yesterday evening.

Branch executive Muhsin Beydoğan and branch members Abdullah Gök and Halit Kaçar were detained while on their way back from a visit to the tent of condolence set up in Tillo district for YPG fighter Hüsamettin Ekinci who has recently died in the fighting against ISIS gangs in Kobanê town of West Kurdistan, Rojava.

After being stopped on the Tillo-Siirt road, the IHD members were taken to Siirt police headquarters while the reason for the detention is not known yet.
