Amedspor was subjected to racist comments and attacks by the Turkish state. The club was directly targeted by the Ministry of Interior Süleyman Soylu who said: "Sport clubs are receiving orders from Kandil".

After these comments it was learned that inspectors were sent to the club to investigate Board of Directors books, financial statements and incomes and expenses.
