Internationalist activists staged a march in the German city of Leipzig yesterday to mark the tenth anniversary of the July 19 Rojava Revolution.

A declaration read before the launch of the demonstration denounced the Turkish state’s criminal actions outside its borders and threats of further invasions.

Slogans chanted by the demonstrators condemned the Turkish state’s genocidal war in various parts of the Kurdistan territory, including Rojava (northern Syria) where large territories have been occupied by Turkey for years in violation of international law.

The protest march was joined by KOn-MED, Solinetz, Handala, FKO (Internationaliste Jugend, Frauenkollektiv& Solidaritätsnetzwerk), Rojava Solibündnis, Revolution & Arbeiter:innenmacht, Zora, SDAJ, Kämpfende Jugend and Women Defend Rojava.
