Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into ten books published by Aram Publishing House included those by murdered writer Musa Anter and three in Kurdish language on the grounds of "making propaganda of an illegal organisation".
Musa Anter's son Dicle Anter said in his statement that the prosecutor asked them why they published the books by a dead man and commented: "They are telling us to be silent, not to speak, not to see. They are silencing the intellectuals." Anter reminded of the fact that his father's books were banned for the last time in 1962 and said that the same repressive mentality still continue.
