Public Prosecutor of Diyarbakır has launched an investigation into the cemetery in Lice where some 170 members of PKK (Kurdistan Workers' Party) and HPG (People's Defense Forces) are buried.

The Kurdish guerrillas buried in the cemetery, in the rural area near the village of Yolçatı (Sisê) in Lice, are those who lost their life in clashes with Turkish army between the years of 1990 and 2010.
