Iranian army shelled Kandil area with mortars and howitzers last night.

People's Defense Forces Press and Communication Centre HPG-BIM reported in a written statement that Iranian army carried out howitzer and mortar attacks on the border to Kandil region in Medya Defense Zones.

HPG-BIM stated that the bombardment between 11 pm Sunday and 2 am Monday targeted the hills of Martyr Ronahi and Martyr Nuda which are located in the Dola Kokê area of Turkish military posts on the border to Kandil.
