Iranian border forces kill a tradesman, injure another in Oshnavieh

Iranian forces continue their deadly attacks in the border area.

The Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) reported that Iranian border forces opened fire on a group of tradesmen in the Gadar area of Oshnavieh, West Azerbaijan province, on 2 April, killing civilian Eynollah Ghadernezhad.

Another civilian identified as Mohammad Latif Khaledi, 51, was shot several times and severely wounded.

The border forces targeted the tradesmen without prior warning and from close range, according to the Kurdistan Human Rights Network.

Two other civilians, Mohammad Sedigh Khaledi, 32, and Shahram Saleh Mohammadi, were also arrested by the border forces.

The four civilians who come from the village of Cherik Abad in Orumiyeh, West Azerbaijan province, were targeted by military forces as they crossed the border with their livestock, KHRN has learned.
