Iraqi MP Osman reacted to Iranian bombing
Showing reaction to the attacks carried out by the Iranian army in Federal Kurdistan Region, Kurdish Parliamentarian Mahmud Osman said; The main purpose of these attacks is to make Kurds slaughter each other. Iran, Turkey and Iraq came to an agreement on the attacks. The solution to the problem lies in Damascus, Ankara and Tehran. The issue cant be settled up through cannonball attacks at any side of the border
A response to the attacks on Federal Region of Kurdistan came from Iraqi Parliamentarian Kurdish MP Mahmud Osman. Commenting Irans attacks to DIHA (Dicle News Agency), Osman said; Iranian, Syrian and Turkish states deny all the rights of Kurds they hold for being a nation. Every time Kurds demand their rights, powers unify on both sides of the border and try to suppress them through violence. These states are also given assistance by the Iraqi state on occasions and this assistance is performed secretively to a large extent.
Iran, Iraq and Turkey agreed on the operation
The Iraqi government has remained silent against all the attacks of Iran. Silence confirms the happenings and shows that Iran, Turkey and Iraq have made a deal on a series of points between each other. All these military operations are of no avail because it is just a pipe dream that the problem will be solved with attacks on any side of the border.
Kurdish people will not accept to call PKK and PJAK as terrorists
Remarking that these countries first and foremost need to recognize the Kurdish people and then try to find solutions to the problems, Mahmud Osman continued as follows; However, if they in any case insist on fighting against PKK and PJAK which they define as terrorists, they should know that these words will not be accepted by the Kurdish people because Iran and Turkey are the real terrorists. Now, these two countries are going from Tehran and Ankara to Kurdistan where they are trying to bombard and murder the Kurds who are defined as terrorists when they try to protect themselves against these attacks. Where else in the world could the self-defense of a people be called as a terrorist activity? State terrorism is their policy.
Kurds won nothing from civil war
Osman noted that the main goal of the attack on Federal Region of Kurdistan is to make South Kurdistan wage a war on the peoples of Northern and Eastern Kurdistan and continued; This is the policy of making Kurds slaughter each other. This is the policy of exercising influence over South Kurdistan, making it declare PKK and PJAK as terrorist organizations and decide upon a common war with these countries. When Mr. Barzani opposed to this cooperation, the Iranian government officially explained that Barzani sheltered terrorists in his own region and supported them. Such fights took place among Kurds at earlier times as well but Kurds didnt obtain anything, on the contrary, they lost many things. Not any Kurds do want to turn back to that dark past once again. They shall know that no Kurd in Southern Kurdistan will fight against the PKK and PJAK.
'America is common in this operation'
"The states of Iran and Turkey particularly take advantage of the silence of Iraqi, American and South Kurdistan governments. America definitely assists these countries and takes sides with Turkey on this issue. There exists an alliance between the three states, in other words, America is indirectly a side and partner of this war conducted against Kurds. Our borders are bombarded by Iran and Turkey every day and America remains silent while it is supposedly charged with protecting Iraq and its borders from both air and land.
'Kurds need to unite
Pointing out that Iran's attitude is quite hard and poses continuity, Osman said; In my opinion, the current situation has developed upon the recommendation of Turkey which is seeking ways to carry out an operation in South Kurdistan. Within this process, Kurds should be in unity more than ever and they should assist each other. These three countries cant do anything to Kurds if they move together.
