YPG (People's Protection Units) and peshmerga forces have inflicted a heavy blow on ISIS gangs in Rabia town of Mosul in a major offensive continuing since yesterday.

According to the information received from the YPG Press Centre, ISIS gangs that were forced to take shelter in a hospital after suffering a heavy defeat in clashes with Kurdish forces were surrounded by YPG and peshmerga forces that launched an attack from two directions.

Clashes in the region are continuing.

HPG (People's Defence Forces) guerrillas and peshmerga forces also launched a joint operation against ISIS gangs in the Kirkuk city of West Kurdistan early Tuesday morning.
