Jinên Tîrêjên Rojê Initiative claims actions in Istanbul

Jinên Tîrêjên Rojê Initiative announced that they burned a textile warehouse, a shop and six vehicles belonging to fascists in Istanbul.

In a written statement, Jinên Tîrêjên Rojê Initiative said: “We will fight against this mentality and fascism everywhere and in every area and won’t stay silent about the massacre of women”.

The Initiative added that they carried out five separate actions in Istanbul between 19 and 23 July targeting a textile warehouse, a shop and six vehicles.

Actions were listed as follows:

“On 19 July, a textile warehouse and a vehicle belonging to fascists in Esenyurt, Istanbul were burnt.

On 20 July, 3 vehicles belonging to fascist AKP-MHP members were destroyed by our units in Tuzla, Istanbul.

On 22 July, 2 vehicles belonging to fascist AKP-MHP members were destroyed by our units in Fatih, Istanbul.

A shop belonging to fascists was hit with handmade explosives in Haramidere, Istanbul on 22 July, burned and destroyed.

On 23 July, our units carried out an action for a service vehicle belonging to the occupying police in Küçükçekmece, Istanbul. As a result of the action, a police van was burned down.”
