Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) MP Hasip Kaplan remarked that the ruling AKP government was running a systematical smear campaign through Roboski massacre to cover up KCK (Kurdish Communities Union) operations.

Responding to the statements of the ruling AKP (Justice and Development Party), BDP Þýrnak MP Hasip Kaplan stated that the strategy of attacking opposition and systematical smear campaign of the AKP was an adventure that dragged Turkey into a disaster.

Pointing out to the black propaganda campaign of Neo-AKP, Kaplan noted that AKP ministers often appeared on TV and papers, giving interview about different issues with an aim to cover up Uludere massacre, the latest KCK operation and the raid of MP Leyla Zana’s house.

Kaplan also criticized the statements of Deputy Prime Minister Beþir Atalay who promises freedom, civil politics and end to KCK operations regardless of the current operations. Kaplan in this respect pointed out to the ongoing arrests and pressures, remarking that nobody would believe in these promises unless the freedom of thought and organization are ensured and the present regime is changed.
