Karayýlan: Barzani should not let AKP use him
Speaking to NRT television in South Kurdistan, Kurdish communities Union (KCK) Executive Council Murat Karayýlan remarked that Federal Kurdistan Regional Government president Massoud Barzani shouldn’t be an instrument to AKP policies and underlined; “We don’t want Mr. Barzani to be a party to the game and war of breaking the will of the Kurdish people.”
Karayýlan stated that Erdoðan’s intention and decision for a war exhibited the fact that he doesn’t have a mind to find a solution to the Kurdish question.
Noting that Turkey neither took a concrete step nor fulfilled its promises along the negotiations which lasted for three years, Karayýlan pointed out that this approach reveals the hypocrisy of the Turkish state.
“The Turkish state is conducting a war to break the will of the Kurdish people, their leader Öcalan and their party BDP”, answered Karayýlan to NRT’s question “Why Turkey doesn’t address itself to Imralý, PKK and BDP?”
Karayýlan noted that the Kurdish movement has never followed an approach and actions against the U.S. itself and underlined; “However, the U.S. is making common cause with Turkey for its own benefits and gives an effort to eliminate the Kurdish Struggle for Freedom”.
Pointing out to CIA intelligence collection activities in South Kurdistan for the elimination of the Freedom movement in Kurdistan, Karayýlan noted that they hoped nobody would be an instrument to the anti-Kurd policies in South Kurdistan.
Karayýlan added that the AKP government doesn’t have a solution policy and remarked that the so-called “Kurdish initiative” is nothing more than policies of delaying.
Karayýlan stated that Erdoðan’s intention and decision for a war exhibited the fact that he doesn’t have a mind to find a solution to the Kurdish question.
