Karayýlan: passing law on isolation would have serious consequences

PKK (Kurdistan Workers' Party) leader Öcalan had stated in one of his last messages before being isolated from the rest of the world by the state that

referred to the current situation as "touchy. It isn’t appropriate for us to meet someone" he added.

Murat Karayýlan, member of the Presidency council of the KCK (Kurdish Communities Union) said today that they have "very serious doubts" as to what is happening in Imrali island. Karayýlan strongly warned the Parliament about the law for isolation on Öcalan: "Passing this law means the somination of the war mentality till the end. They will bear the consequence should they pass it."

Karayýlan, answering ANF’s question about PKK leader's message said that "The words of leader Apo and the attitude he adopts are for sure significant but it is also important to evaluate the meaning of this message. The attitude of Öcalan should be viewed taking into consideration the total war against our leader, movement and people engaged by the state under the leadership of the AKP. While this total warfare mostly focuses on Öcalan, it is known that the completely central policies developed against our leader aim to obtain a result.”
