The European Kurdistan Democratic Societies Congress (KCDK-E) issued a statement calling on everyone living abroad to exercise their right to vote.
The statement reiterated that votes in Europe can be cast from today until 9 May. "We must make the biggest effort in these critical 13 days, and bring everyone in favor of democracy and freedom, to vote."
The statement added: "This election is of strategic importance as it can defeat the anti-Kurdish fascist government and dictator Erdoğan."
The statement continued: "Let's mobilize with a determined stance against genocide, fascism and dictatorship. Let's mobilize for freedom, democracy and a bright future. Go to the polls, and vote for the Green Left Party!"
