KCDK-E issues statement to mark International Workers' Day

The KCDK-E issued a statement on the occasion of May 1st, International Workers' Day and called on everyone to vote and get rid of the AKP-MHP fascist government on 14 May.

The KCDK-E issued a statement to mark International Workers’ Day and said that the struggle for labor and freedom needed a united struggle more than ever against oppression, threat and exploitation. “The AKP-MHP fascism and Erdogan dictatorship stand as a major obstacle to the labor movement. The war waged in the region, especially in the Kurdish territory, is paid for by the profits obtained from the sweat of the workers. War causes the impoverishment of peoples.

Let's bury the AKP-MHP fascist regime in the ballot box.”

The KCDK-E statement continued: “Voting abroad began on 27 April and will end on 9 May. Here 1 May gains more meaning as a day of unity and struggle against exploitation, oppression and war.

As peoples, workers, women, youths, identities and all the oppressed, we must lead the spirit of resistance and unity against the exploitation, massacres and disasters of capitalist modernity, and work for the democratic unity of all marginalized people on May Day.

We must mobilize and vote against the AKP-MHP fascist bloc. Wherever and whenever we are, we must unite and raise the resistance against isolation and fascism.”

The statement ended with the following remarks: “As KCDK-E, we call on our patriotic people, revolutionary, democrat and intellectual opposition groups to unite and increase the resistance and democratic struggle, in order to create a world where labor is liberated.”
