A delegation from the KCK has met the speaker of the South Kurdistan Parliament and representatives of political parties. At the meeting the situation in Kobanê, the widespread uprising in North Kurdistan and the Kurdistan national congress were discussed.

KCK Foreign Relations Committee member Ferhan Amara said: "we have met Yusif Mihemed, the speaker of the Kurdistan Regional Parliament, and representatives of the parliamentary groups of the PDK, PUK, Gorran, Yekgirtûya Îslamî ya Kurdistanê (Islamic Union of Kurdistan) and Komela Îslamî ya Kurdistanê (Islamic Association of Kurdistan).  

Amara added that they had exchanged views on the situation in Kobanê, the uprisings in North Kurdistan and the Kurdistan national congress.

Ferhan Amara said that the parliamentary speaker had made clear his views on all three topics, condemning the Turkish state’s attacks on the people. She added that Yusif Mihemmed had also said he would do all within his power to ensure the national congress assembled as soon as possible.
