The Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) has released a statement calling for urgent action for thousands of civilians facing a threat of massacre in Kobanê.

Remarking that ISIS gangs are advancing into the town, KNK emphasised that thousands of civilians in the town are under the threat of imminent massacre, and that thousands of others at the Turkish border are also under the threat of systematical attacks by ISIS.

KNK recalled that the President of the Kobanê Canton, Enver Muslim, has warned the international powers on the threat two days ago and called on the international coalition to break their silence, warning;“If ISIS enters Kobanê and commits a massacre, all international powers will be held responsible.”
