Thousands of people holding a vigil in the village of Alizêr at the border with Kobanê formed a human chain at the border early this morning in solidarity with YPG/YPJ forces that inflicted a heavy blow on ISIS gangs last night. With slogans they chanted, people of the village greeted the Kobanê resistance.

The resistance vigil at the border in support of YPG/YPJ forces resisting ISIS gangs attacking on Kobanê for days with heavy weaponry, continue. The people holding a vigil in the village of Alizêr to the east of Kobanê formed a human chain this morning. Thousands of people from neighbouring cities marched to the border and formed a human chain of 3 km long along the border line.

People in the chain chanted the slogans “Kobanê DAİŞ re bibe goristan” (Kobanê will be the grave of ISIS)”, “Bijî berxwedana Kobanê (Long live Kobanê resistance)” to support the YPG/YPJ forces. Singing the song “Çerxa Şoreşe”, people have written YPG on the ground with stones.

There is an enormous increase in the number of the people going to vigil points at the border this morning. Thousands of people continue to flock to the border from all over Kurdistan and other cities of Turkey and join the vigils, turning them into a feast of resistance.
