Kurdish artists call for the release of prisoners
Kurdish artists in Europe and Turkey are preparing videos demanding the immediate release of prisoners.
Civil society organizations, relatives of prisoners and politicians pointed out that the coronavirus epidemic is a threat for people in prison, and demanded for their immediate release.
Kurdish artists living in Turkey and Europe were asked by relatives of prisoners to join the campaign demanding freedom for the people in Turkish prisons.
Mesopotamian Cultural Center (MKM) artists are preparing short videos with the slogan "Freedom for all prisoners".
The artists who joined the campaign demanding freedom for prisoners are as follows: Xanemîr, Hozan Kawa, Ehsan Xelîkan, Bengî Agirî, Şirîn Alma, Jiyan Arjîn, Zahîr Loran, Hozan Berbang, Şêrko Kanîwar, Yılmaz Güneyli, Selhat Gimgim, Kibar Süvari, Devrim Demir, Mesut Baskın, Neşet Güçmen, Ruken Bekalp, Hozan Dino, Avşin Adıguzel, Şahperi Alphan, Yavuz Akkuzu, Gıyasettin Şehir, Berfin Emektar, Ahmet Yılmaz, Azad Bedran Kızılkar, Pınar Aydınlar, Elvan Koçer, Ömer Baran and İlham Bakır.
