Kurdish people to march against Iranian aggression

Democratic Botan People's Initiative called on all Kurds and democratic circles to react against the Iranian aggression on PJAK, remarking that the attacks of Iran against South Kurdistan are an "invasion operation". The Initiative announced a protest demonstration to be held today in Sýrnak.

Today at 6pm there will also be a demonstration and rally in Diyarbakýr organized by the BDP.

The Initiative said; "Iran's attempt to cross the border through bombardments on Kurdistan lands is a violation of both the international law and the laws of Federal Iranian State".

Pointing out to the parallel operations of the Turkish army across Northern Kurdistan, the Initiative noted that the target is to break the fair struggle of the Kurdish people through military and political operations."

The Initiative said; "However, the Kurdish people will, on the contrary, rise their struggle and show all the world that the Kurdish people will no more fight against each other. This dirty play under the cooperation of Iran, Turkey and the U.S. will once more be let down by the strong will of the Kurdish people".

The statement continued as follows; "We announce that the people of Botan will not accept these attacks with the spirit of rebellion and they will display their democratic reactions in a stronger way than ever. Against this joint concept of destruction, which is led by the AKP government, the Democratic Botan People's Initiative will gather in front of BDP Sýrnak district building at 18.00 tomorrow, make a mass march to Cumhuriyet Square and make a press statement there. We are calling all the people of Botan to support our action to condemn the attacks against the Kurdish people."
