CREIL
In the French city of Creil, Kurdish youths closed the road to traffic on the Creil Bridge to condemn the isolation imposed by Turkey on urdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan. Youths vowed to continue their protests until some news is received from Öcalan, and called upon every patriotic Kurd to join the mobilisation.
BERLIN
In the German city of Berlin, Kurdish youths staged a protest demonstration in front of the ARD TV building and condemned the aggravated isolation of the Kurdish leader.
BIELEFELD
A civil disobedience action led by Ciwanên Azad, umbrella organisation of Kurdish youths, was staged in the Radio Bielefeld building.
DUSSELDORF
In another German city, Düsseldorf, Kurdish youths occupied the WDR television station condemning the repressive policies of the German state against Kurds and inviting the German press to act against the isolation of Öcalan. WDR had to suspend the live stream throughout the night because of the protest.
LIEGE
In the Belgium city of Liege, Ciwanên Azad members protested Öcalan's isolation with a huge banner reading “Freedom for Öcalan” and vowing to continue their protests until their leader is freed.
MARSEILLE
In the French city of Marseille, Kurdish youths and Democratic Society Center staged a civil disobedience action in France 3 TV channel in protest at the aggravated isolation of the Kurdish leader. Demonstrators demanded the TV channel to broadcast on Öcalan's situation and ended the protest on receiving a promise from the TV.
A mass rally will be held for Öcalan's freedpm at the Canebière Square at 14:00 on Saturday.
