Kurds staged a protest demonstration in the French city of Cannes to protest the aggravated isolation of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

The demo in front of the Cannes Film Festival building was staged by Kurdish youths living in Côte d’Azur.

Carrying posters of Öcalan, the demonstrators distributed leaflets informing about the French community about Öcalan's condition and demanding his immediate access to his family and lawyers.
