Kurds and Australians protest Turkey’s attacks in Sydney

Protests against the Turkish state's annihilation campaign against the Kurdish people continue all around the world.

Kurds and their Australian friends took to the streets in Sydney in protest at the Turkish state’s genocidal attacks against Southern Kurdistan ongoing since last week when Maxmur, Shengal and Medya Defense Zones were targeted in a massive aerial bombardment.

The demonstration at the Town Hall Square was organised by the Women’s Commission of the Democratic Kurdish Community Center (DTKM).

Speakers stressed that the attacks of the Turkish state target not only the PKK but all the Kurdish people as a whole. They warned that the achievements of the Kurdish people are under threat.

Speakers also called for all-out resistance and action to drive the Turkish state out of Kurdistan.
