Kurds caught between two fires in Aleppo

The Kurdish people in Syria’s second largest city Aleppo have been caught in the middle of clashes between Assad regime’s security forces and Western-supported armed groups. Deaths and injuries reported in the city which currently has a Kurdish population of over half a million.

Severe clashes between two sides have expanded to densely Kurdish populated neighborhoods of Heyderiye and Meakin Heneno. Tanks and artilleries are used in the clashes, said ANF reporter in Aleppo.

The Kurdish people in the clashes area are reportedly fleeing to other Kurdish neighborhoods of Þex Meqsud and Esrefiye.
