The Kurds living in the village of Dêrik in the Elegez region of Armenia, protested the invasion attacks of the Turkish state and the betrayal of the KDP in a press statement.
Kurdistan Committee co-chair Silo Dirboyan and Dayê Çîlê gave a speech. Dirboyan stated that they are aware of the dirty war carried out by the Turkish state and the interests of the KDP. He called on the KDP to "give up the path of betrayal” and extend its hand to the Kurdish people. Recalling a famous Kurdish proverb, Dirboyan said: "Eger PKK tastê be hun jî şîv in" (If the PKK is for breakfast, you are dinner too).” Dirboyan called for the guerrillas and Shengal to stand up.
Dayê Çîlê also stated that they are no longer the silent Kurds and demanded that the invaders withdraw their hands from the Medya Defense Areas and Shengal.
