Kurds in Martigues, France have started a Long March for Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan’s freedom toward Marseilles. The march will last 3 days.

The Kurdish demonstrators gathered in front of the Martigues Municipality and submitted a folder to the municipality officials on the purpose of their march. Over 150 activists continue their march with the slogan, “Freedom for Öcalan, Status for Kurdistan”. The march will continue to the Gignac district for today.
