The Kurdish People's Assembly organised a protest in front of Wood Green Library, in London. The action was to protest the Turkish state attacks against Northern and Eastern Syria.
In an action supported by the Migrant Workers Cultural Association (GİK-DER), leaflets describing the war crimes of the Turkish state were distributed. Making a speech here on behalf of GIK-DER, İbrahim Avcil condemned the invasion attacks of the Turkish state and said: “The Turkish state is carrying out invasion attacks against Rojava, which ISIS gangs have not destroyed. These attacks on the most democratic free system of the Middle East, created by the peoples by giving thousands of martyrs, are unacceptable. The Kurdish people and we will not allow fascism to prevail and will stand against Erdogan and the Turkish state."
Making a speech on behalf of the Kurdish People's Assembly, Ercan Akbal underlined that defending Kurdistan against the invasion attacks carried out by the Turkish state also means defending freedom, democracy and equality.
