Kurds in Russia protest Turkey’s attacks on guerrilla areas

Kurds living in Russia continue to protest the invasion attacks of the Turkish state on Medya Defense Zones.

Kurds living in Moscow and Saratov made a statement and protested the Turkish state’s occupation and genocide attacks targeting the guerrilla-controlled Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq).

The chairperson of International Association of Kurdish Community Institutions Arif Azmanî speaking on behalf of Kurds living in Moscow stated that AKP-MHP power bloc intends to occupy southern Kurdistan under the guise of struggle against the PKK. He stressed that these attacks will be defeated by the struggle of the Kurds.

The statement said, “All Kurds must take action everywhere they live. International community remains silent although it is explicit that the Turkish state uses chemical weapons against the guerrillas. An opposing stance must be determined against the betrayal line of the KDP and Barzani family.”

SARATOV

Likewise, Kurds living in Tîmonîno village located in Dergaçi district of Saratov city protested the Turkish state. Members of the Kurdish Council İsmail Yusubov, Tevrat Abdullayeva and İbrahim Yusubov each made a speech.

Speakers pointed out the Turkish state’s annihilation and denial policies in civil, political and military terms and the aggravated isolation imposed on Öcalan on İmralı.

“Kurdish people must enlarge the struggle up to their last breaths, by the time the leader Abdullah Öcalan becomes free and Kurdistan is liberated” said the statement by the activists.
