Kurds march in Lausanne: "Freedom for Öcalan, Status for Kurdistan"

Kurdish demonstrators demand 'Freedom for Öcalan and Status for Kurdistan' in Lausanne where Kurdistan was divided into four parts in the year of 1923.

The Long March organised by Switzerland Democratic Kurdish Society Center with the motto 'Freedom for Öcalan, Status for Kurdistan' continues in the city of Lausanne where the decision to divide Kurdistan into four parts was made in 1923.

Demonstrators resumed the Long March in its second day after gathering at Place de Marche Renens, carrying posters of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and flags of PKK (Kurdistan Workers' Party), KCK (Kurdistan Communities Union), YPG /YPJ (People's / Women's Defense Units) and chanting "Terrorist Turkey", "Dictator Erdoğan".

Participants of the march hand out flyers on the dimension of Öcalan's isolation throughout the route of the march which they continue with enthusiasm.

Following the march which will last during the day, demonstrators will end the action with a rally in Lausanne city center in the evening hours.
