Kurdish organizations have protested in Brussels and London against the Turkish invasion of South Kurdistan and the total isolation of Abdullah Öcalan in Turkish custody.
The protest action in front of the European Parliament in Brussels was promoted by the women's umbrella organization TJK-E. The participants read out a statement in French criticizing the international institutions for their silence on Turkey's cross-border military operations, which violate international law.
In London, Kurds and people in solidarity gathered with signs and banners in front of the Prime Minister's residence in Downing Street, demanding an immediate halt to arms exports to Turkey. The British government was called upon to take a stand against the Turkish occupation of Kurdistan.
