Mersin deputy Ertuğrul Kürkçü is recovering at the Güven Hospital in Ankara  where he had been taken after suffering a heart problem while at the congress of the newly formed People’s Democratic Party (HDP).

He was immediately taken to hospital after delivering his speech as a candidate for the chairpersonship of the party.

Kürkçü had an angio performed.
