KONDA carried out polling last month, finding that HDP has the support of 10.6% of voters in Turkey. While the vote of other parties is down, the HDP is seen as an alternative.

When the votes of the undecided are taken into consideration, the HDP’s share of the vote was 10.6%, enough to exceed the threshold. The vote of the governing AKP was down to 45%.

According to the poll, the parties’ share of the vote was as follows:

AKP: 45.4%

CHP: 23.3%

MHP: 15.1%

HDP: 10.6 %

HDP could win 74 seats in parliament

In the event of the parties receiving these proportions of the vote, the distribution of seats would be as follows:

AKP: 277

CHP: 120

MHP: 79

HDP: 74

Polling firms say that while voters have begun to desert the AKP, there is still no alternative to it. Voters do not see the CHP and MHP as being able to form a government, but support for the HDP is up by 2.1%.
