Lawyer Selçuk Kozağaçlı, the Honorary Chair of the Contemporary Lawyers' Association (ÇHD), has been imprisoned since 2017. He was released on 16 April after completing his sentence.

However, the prosecutor’s office swiftly objected to his release, and the court accepted the objection just as quickly. As a result, a detention order was issued against Kozağaçlı, and he was taken back into custody.
