A new legal process has been initiated against the PKK ban that has been going on for 29 years in Germany. Lawyers Peer Stolle, Dr. Lukas Theune made an official application to the Federal Ministry of Interior in Berlin in the morning for the lifting of the ban on the PKK in Germany.
The PKK was banned in Germany by the then Minister of Interior Manfred Kanther on 26 November 1993. The legal representatives of the International Law and Democracy Association (MAF-DAD) thus started a new legal struggle against the ban that has been going on for 29 years.
