Ercüment Akdeniz, leader of the Labour Party (EMEP), has announced his resignation in the wake of the May 14 presidential and parliamentary elections.
In a three-page statement on Twitter, Akdeniz stated that his resignation was a result of the discussions, attitudes and tendencies that emerged during the election period.
