Long March in Germany: We are on the streets until Öcalan is free

The Long March for Öcalan started in Heilbronn and Niedersachsen, Germany.

HEILBRONN

The three-day long march for Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan started in Heilbronn, Germany towards Stuttgart with dozens of activists.

Sait Öztürk spoke in the name of the preparation committee and protesting the isolation imposed upon Öcalan, said: “From now on, until the Leader’s freedom is achieved, nobody can keep us away from the streets.”

After the speech, the march started towards Kirchheim.

NIEDERSACHSEN

In Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony) state, the march for Öcalan’s freedom continues with enthusiasm. The march organized for February 1-2-3 started in Hildesheim today. It will continue for 3 days, and the crowd is planned to pass through several towns and villages. Hundreds of flyers were handed out against the isolation imposed upon Öcalan. The activists were met with great interest accompanied with slogans and music, and have marched halfway through the route.
