In a written statement on Monday, the Kurdistan Freedom Militia (Milîsên Azadiya Kurdistan, MAK) said that they attacked the Ülkü Ocakları (Grey Wolves Hearths) in Bahçelievler neighbourhood of Siirt with grenades and Molotovs at around 22:30 on Saturday night, April 6.
The statement said: "The special operations police positioned with armoured vehicles in front of the Ülkü Ocakları, one of the nests of fascism and special warfare centre, noticed the MAK militia and gave a stop warning. The MAK militia, who did not obey the stop warning, successfully hit the target.”
The statement added: “During the attack, a vehicle belonging to the Ülkü Ocakları was burnt and became unusable, while the centre of the fascists was damaged."
