TKP/ML TİKKO guerrilla Hasan Ali Karakoç and three other guerrillas had lost their lives during a clash with Turkish soldiers after a bombardment by Turkish jets in Dersim countryside on November 25. While the bodies of the 4 fallen guerrillas are held in Malatya Forensic Medicine Institute, Karakoç has been identified by his family today.

Policemen detained Karakoç's elder brother Kazım Karakoç during the identification process without putting forward any reason. Kazım Karakoç was remanded in custody and sent to prison soon later.
