Eso Salih Xillo, from Kobanê, who was crushed by a Turkish military armoured vehicle 2 days ago on the border, is still awaiting urgent operations on his head, back and legs.
Two days ago on the Pirsûs (Suruç ) - Kobanê border 30 metres from the village of Boydê, Eso Salih Xillo (25) was struck by an armoured car. After initial treatment in the Suruç State hospital, he was transferred to the Urfa Mehmet Akif İnan Training and Research hospital. Despite it being said he urgently needs operations on his head, back and legs, Xillo is still being kept waiting.
'On one side ISIS is striking, and on the other Turkey’
Xillo's elder brother, Tayyar Xillo, complained that no one at the hospital had given them any information, adding: "My brother has yet to be given any medication. His wounds have also not been dressed. He is in a lot of pain. On one side ISIS is striking, and on the other, Turkey. Those they don’t kill they leave to die.”
Doctors said they would not provide any information regarding why no operation had been carried out on Xillo.
