A man with a gun in his hand tried to enter the courthouse during the hearing of Deniz Poyraz, who was murdered in the HDP Izmir Provincial Organization in 2021.
The fourth hearing of the case regarding Deniz Poyraz, who was murdered as a result of an armed attack on the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Izmir provincial building on 17 June 2021, was held.
The case against the murderer Onur Gencer is being heard at the Izmir 6th High Criminal Court.
During the hearing, an armed person tried to enter the courthouse.
It was heard that the gunman, finger on the trigger, said "I will shoot you all".
The police remained silent and did not intervene until the gunman arrived in front of the courthouse.
People attending the hearing reacted and were attacked by police. The gunman was eventually detained.
