Man wounded while crossing the Rojava border

Mines laid by Turkish soldiers at the border with Rojava continue to leave people dead or wounded, and disabled.

Salih Reşit Cumo, married and father of four, was seriously injured after stepping on a mine while crossing into the village of Bauğa, in Kilis province, from the village of Shilteht last night.

Taken to Afrin hospital after sustaining a critical injury, Cumo had to have his right foot mutilated.

Cumo and his family moved from Aleppo to the village of Shilteht, in Shera town of Afrin, last year due to the attacks of the regime forces and ISIS gangs.

One person was killed and three were wounded at Turkey's border with Rojava in the last ten days.
