A march was held in Athens in solidarity with Italian anarchist Alfredo Cospito, who has been on hunger strike since 20 October 2022 against the severe isolation under which he is held in Italy.
Socialist, anarchist groups and Kurds in Athens marched in solidarity with Italian anarchist Alfredo Cospito, who has been on hunger strike since 20 October 2022, against the severe isolation conditions under which he is held in a prison in Italy.
Athens Democratic Kurdistan Cultural Center also participated in the march held in Tsio Square.
The political prisoners in the prisons of Turkey and Kurdistan were saluted during the march, and the aggravated absolute isolation of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan was protested.
Activists underlined that Cospito is in very poor health.
