A commemoration was held in Vienna, Austria to pay tribute to the ‘Martrys of May’ at the Democratic Kurdish Community Center.

Speakers at the event pointed out the Turkish state’s genocidal war against the Kurdish people, devastation of guerrillas’ graves, seizure of HDP municipalities, systematic attacks against women and their institutions in the Kurdish region, dismissal and arrest of democratically elected HDP mayors and the aggravated isolation of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Speakers also pointed out that the PKK has come to these days taking over the legacy of the 68’s generation and revolutionaries Deniz, Mahir, İbrahim and Yusuf.

The event ended with slogans.
