KDP President Masoud Barzani flew from Hewler to Turkey today.

Barzani will begin his visit with a meeting with the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at 18:00. Barzani will later meet with Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım and discuss the political and economical developments in the region.

KDP President Masoud Barzani is accompanied by the Regional Presidential Council President Fuad Hussain and Government Spokesperson Safeen Dizayee.

Even though Barzani’s term ended one year ago and he is not legally the President, he is carrying out the visit as the President of Kurdistan region.
