The meeting of the HDP delegation with PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan, which was expected to be held today, has been postponed until tomorrow.

The meeting, which was originally to be held on Sunday and which was postponed until today because of adverse weather condition, was not permitted.

According to a statement issued by the HDP Press office, the meeting of the HDP delegation with PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan has been postponed until Wednesday 1 October. It said that the delegation will travel to Imralı island tomorrow.

The HDP delegation went to Kandil and held 2 days of meetings last week, then held meetings with the government.

Last week the KCK (Kurdistan Communities Union) drew attention in particular to the stance of the government regarding ISIS gangs, stating that "the attack on Kobanê means the environment of non-conflict no longer exists".

After all these developments, statements to be made by PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan are being eagerly anticipated.
