Memorial for Rêzan Cavîd and Rênas Roj in Stockholm
KODAR Executive Council members Rêzan Cavîd (Yûsîf Rebanî) and Rênas Roj (Selahattin Şehabi), who fell as martyrs in the attacks carried out by the Turkish state, were commemorated in Stockholm.
Rêzan Cavid, a member of the Executive Council of the Democratic and Free Eastern Kurdistan Community (KODAR), fell as a martyr in the drone attack carried out by the Turkish state in the neighbourhood of Sinai in Qamishlo on 6 August 2022.
Renas Roj, a member of the People's Defense Units (YPG) Military Council, fell as a martyr on 19 August 2021.
In the memorial held in Stockholm, SDF Military Council member Sosin Bîrhat, who fell martyr on 18 August 2021, and PAJK Council member Bêrîvan Zîlan, who fell martyr on 17 June in Medya Defense Areas, were also commemorated.
A video about the lives and struggles of the martyrs was screened, while speakers underlined the importance of national unity against the invasion attacks.
A statement by KODAR and PJAK for Rênas Roj was also read at the commemoration.
