Military operations and clashes are on the increase in the Kurdish majority provinces.

Two soldiers died, one sergeant was injured in a clash between Turkish Military Forces and HPG in the countryside of Aktütün Village in Þemdinli, a district of Hakkari late on Friday night.

Fireworks were set off at the Aliþan Erol Police Centre in Kayapýnar, a district of Diyarbakýr. Following the attack, police detained and severely beat three persons. The injured people were taken to the police headquarters of Diyarbakýr.

An attack occurred during the military brigade’s dispatch from Derecik (Rubarok) town in Þemdinli, a district of Hakkari to the Federative Kurdistan Region border early on Friday.

Military operations in Lice, a district of Diyarbakýr, are continuing since the HPG kidnapped three persons, including two soldiers, a week ago.

At least one soldier died and four others were injured following an explosion in Nurhak, a district of Kahramanmaraþ, yesterday. The injured soldiers have been brought to the Elbistan State Hospital for treatment. Other two injured soldiers were taken to Nurhak State Hospital.
