Twelve year-old Okan Deniz and eleven year-old Memet Direkçi were wounded as a result of a mine explosion in Baskale district of Van province on Monday.

The two minors who were reportedly grazing their cattle in the village of Böðrüpek were seriously wounded after their animals stepped on a mine in the grazing land.

Minors were referred to Baþkale and Van Research Hospital.
